By theedgemalaysia.com | The Edge Malaysia – Fri, Jan 11, 2013 9:13 AM SGTKUALA LUMPUR (Jan 11): Maybank IB Research has maintained Neutral on the telecommunications sector and said telecom stocks were major beneficiaries of the liquidity rally in 2012.
In a note Friday, the research house said this made the sector particularly vulnerable to profit taking ahead of the 13th general election.
“We are overall Neutral on the sector, with HOLD ratings on Axiata, Digi and Maxis, and SELL on Telekom Malaysia,” it said.
