Icahn Enterprises names Keith Cozza as CEO

Icahn Enterprises names Keith Cozza as CEO as Daniel Ninivaggi moves to Federal-Mogul

NEW YORK (AP) -- Icahn Enterprises LP, the investing vehicle for billionaire investor Carl Icahn, said Thursday that it named Keith Cozza as CEO and president.

Cozza is replacing Daniel Ninivaggi, who is stepping down to become co-CEO of Federal-Mogul Corp., a subsidiary of Icahn Enterprises that supplies products and services to automakers and other manufacturers. Ninivaggi is replacing Kevin Freeland at Federal-Mogul. Freeland is leaving the company for personal reasons.

The changes took effect Wednesday.

Cozza has worked at Icahn Enterprises and its affiliates for the past 10 years, most recently most as executive vice president of its general partner Icahn Enterprises G.P. Inc. and chief operating officer of Icahn Capital LP, a subsidiary that manages investment funds.

Shares of New York-based Icahn Enterprises rose $1.70, or 1.7 percent, to $104.82 in morning trading Thursday. Shares of Federal-Mogul, which is based in Southfield, Mich., rose 54 cents, or 3.4 percent, to $16.36.
