A courtroom battle looms between Apple (AAPL - News) and SightSound Technologies, 50% owned by General Electric (GE - News), over allegations that Apple's iTunes service violates 3 of its patents related to audio and video on the Web. SightSound was first to sell music via the Web in 1995. Apple denied the claim and filed a counterclaim. Apple shares fell 0.9%. GE rose 0.4%.
