Abbyson Living Opens Second Distribution and Fulfillment Facility in Southern California

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - February 04, 2014) - Abbyson Living is leading the way towards expansion plans in 2014 as it opens a second 100,000 square-foot state-of-the-art warehousing and distribution facility in southern California. The new distribution facility is in addition to Abbyson's three fulfillment centers located across the country.

The new southern California facility created jobs for 20 employees and is expected to double that number within the next few months. Abbyson is expanding its facilities to keep up with clients' demands and continue delivery in a timely manner.

Abbyson has recently expanded its categories, adding more than 100 new designs of living room, bedroom, outdoor, and accessories collections for 2014. Abbyson Living has also signed its first licensing agreement with celebrity designer Monica Pedersen, who will be a judge on a new design show, American Dream Builders, on NBC this year. The Monica Pedersen Furniture Collection by Abbyson Living will also launch this year and the vast interest in the new line creates demand for additional fulfillment space.

Last year Abbyson expanded into the East Coast with an all-new 80,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in Virginia, allowing white-glove delivery service to East Coast consumers in as little as five to seven business days. The East Coast facility also supported Abbyson's green initiative, keeping with the company's mandate to reduce their carbon footprint by reducing the travel time required to deliver their quality home furnishings.
