A shopping mall and hotel-cum-serviced-suites has just opened in one-north.
Covering 10,000 sq ft, the Rochester Mall will be fully open by the end of January. It will cater to residents of the Holland, Dover and Bukit Timah areas and will feature a mix of lifestyle-oriented tenants.
Meanwhile, the 271-room four-star Park Avenue Rochester hotel began operations last month and is targeting leisure and business travellers in the Buona Vista district.
A report by Channel NewsAsia revealed that both projects will be managed by United Engineers Group. Under the new management, the mall and hotel are set to increase the company's assets, which include several residences under the Park Avenue brand.
The group is aiming to boost its portfolio further with expansion plans for the Park Avenue hospitality chain in Southeast Asia and the expected completion of UE BizHub EAST at Changi Business Park. It also intends to participate in tenders to build more malls in Singapore.
